Paris in Mostly Black and White

As a result of the series of rain storms that swept through Paris each day we were there last month, the skies were often very dramatic. So, in Nik software, I converted a few photographs to black and white or, as in the case of the Hotel de Ville, a grungy kind of look, also courtesy of Nik Colorefx. Top photo; Tuileries, next: Place des Vosges in the Marais district. The most beautiful square I have ever seen. Next: The Pyramid at the Louvre. Eiffel tower and the Obelisk at the Place de la Concorde are the bottom two photographs. Cliches to be sure but made palatable by the skies.
