Havana: What's Inside the Door
These photographs are somewhat self-explanatory. I'm fascinated by what lies behind open doors but I never walk in very far to try to find out. The greatest difficulty I have in taking these kinds of shots is getting the geometry straight. This usually takes place on the computer when I get home. Since they are not taken exactly straight on, there's always some lens distortion that has to be dealt with. Sometimes I allow a little vertical or horizontal distortion to stay in, but for the most part I prefer a more classical look. All photographs taken with the Sony A6000 and a couple of different lenses.
