Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2010

Living in the Bay Area, I get to go to the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It's a free concert, stretched out over three days, and it draws more than a hundred thousand fans every year. Cameras are cool; no restrictions, so it's like it was back in the halcyon days of yore. In order, I got to see three of my favorites: Richard Thompson (top), Randy Newman (middle), and Patti Smith (Another post. Randy's piano trumped her this time.) I used a Nikon D90 and the Nikon 18-200. I haven't gone the past two years due to the crowds, the schedule, and weather. I'll be back!
