Laundry, Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, Croatia, is a fascinating city. As one walks around the wall surrounding it, signs of bombing, shelling and mayhem are evident. It has been restored, for the most part, to its former glory, however. I suppose it's because I don't see laundry hanging in backyards in California that I find it interesting and colorful. On this visit in 2008, I was using the Nikon D300 for the first time. Great camera, but heavy. I didn't realize how heavy until the mirrorless cameras made an appearance and I jumped on that bandwagon late last year.
